About Me
I started painting when I was 5 years old. Initially, I engaged in art as a distraction from severe food allergies and asthma I suffered since very early childhood. Eventually art has become a passion and a means of expressing myself. Even though I plan on pursuing Economics/Applied Mathematics as a major in college, art will always remain as my favorite hobby.
For the past thirteen years, I have been attending Arts Steps Studio in Yorba Linda, California. I attained Master Student Status 4 years ago. I love to paint a variety of mediums however my favorite is oil. I enjoy blending colors and I find oil forgiving because it allows me to fix slight imperfections through shading. I have also worked with pastels and acrylic.
One of my paintings (Taj Mahal at Dusk) was recently selected to be published in “Best Student Artists of North America” (CelebratingArt.com) sponsored by Blick Art Materials.
